Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology SRIEIT, popularly known as RIT Shiroda or RIT, is an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved, private engineering school/institution affiliated to Goa University located in Shiroda, Goa. The Institution consists of three academic departments.

National Institute of Oceanography & S.R.I.E.I.T

On 19th september 2005 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Dona Paula, Goa, through its headquarters, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research [CSIR], New Delhi and SRIEIT. NIO is involved in research, consultancy, education and training in all the disciplines of oceanography and allied fields at its headquarters and regional centres in India, whereas SRIEIT is involved in academics, training and research.

ACMS & S.R.I.E.I.T

On 18th October 2005 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between A-Connexion Management Services[here in after ACMS] ,Navi-Mumbai and SSRIEIT. ACMS is involved in Man power supply to all cooperate and private sectors and placements, whereas SRIEIT is involved in academics, training and research related to Electronics and Telecommunication, Computers and Information Technology.

Placement

RIT has a full fledged training-and-placement (TP) cell headed by a TP officer. 26 students from the first batch were successfully placed through campus recruitment. Similarly, 51 students from the second batch, 116 students from the third, and 115 students from the fourth were successfully placed. 32 of current third year have been placed by campus placement. Training

The primary objective of institute is to provide best technocrats of the higher caliber who would engage in research design and development to help building the Nation towards prosperity.

The Institute has strived hard to produce innovative and diligent human resources who reflect a strength of character. They develop themselves through both academics and extra-curricular activities and are thus well-equipped to meet the challenges of the workplace and society as global citizens.

The Training and Placement Cell of the Institute headed by Training and Placement Officer is responsible for arranging training of the students to meet their degree requirement and to provide world class job opportunities to the undergraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations. The Training and Placement Cell arranges senior executives of major industries and organizations to provide pre-placement orientation to the students prior to formal campus interviews.
